Flat advisory fees, quoted in writing

Here's our pricing philosophy, in full: flat advisory fees, quoted in writing before we start. No commissions. No percentage of your coverage. No hourly meter running while you wonder what this is costing you.

Why no prices on this page?

Because a flat fee depends on the work, not a menu. Reading one declarations page is not the same as negotiating a renewal across five carriers while a claim is pending. Putting a number here would be a guess — and we'd rather give you an exact quote than a guess.

How the quote works

Tell us your situation. We scope the work, put a single fixed number in writing, and you approve it before we begin. If the scope changes, the quote changes first — never after.

What never happens

No surprise invoices. No "while we were at it" charges. No commission from any carrier or warranty company — which means our only incentive is giving you advice you'd pay for again.

The honest math

  • A review costs less than a mistake. One overpriced warranty or one uncovered loss usually costs more than any advisory fee we've ever quoted.
  • Sometimes we earn nothing. If our review finds your coverage is already solid and your rate is already fair, we say so — and we don't dress it up as a bigger engagement.
  • Walking away is free. The first conversation costs nothing, and the written quote costs nothing. You decide with the numbers in front of you.

Our Guarantee

If we can’t lower your comparable car-insurance premium by at least $250/year, you get a full refund of our fee. No forms, no fight.

The conditions, in plain English:

  • You provide your current declarations page. We can’t compare what we can’t see.
  • Like-for-like coverage only. We compare documented carrier quotes against your current policy — same limits, same deductibles, same drivers. Apples to apples.
  • Claim within 30 days of our written comparison report.

Shieldline is an advisory service, not an insurance producer — we don’t quote or bind coverage ourselves. The documented quotes we compare are the carriers’ own numbers.
